Your monthly membership gives you unlimited access to all live-streamed and recorded MamaBe Pregnancy Classes & iRest Yoga Nidra meditations. After the birth of your baby, you will also want to take advantage of the MamaBe Baby classes & gatherings, and the Mindful Yoga classes.

Once you sign up, your membership is renewed automatically each month, and you can cancel easily at any time.

  • Can I try a free class before signing up?

    Yes! You will find a free class available to you at the top of this page under 'Welcome to MamaBe Pregnancy Classes'. To view the class, you will need to first sign in (create a profile), however you will not be prompted to enter in payment information. This free class is provided to give you a chance to get a sense of what the practices with Clearlight are like. Keep in mind, each class has its own focus and theme, so this is simply a start! Also, keep in mind, this is a recorded class... when live-streaming we have time before check in, and if issues or questions come up during the class they can be communicated in real-time.

  • How exactly would I cancel my subscription if and when needed?

    You can stop your monthly membership anytime. Sign in on the top bar of this page, click 'My Account,' then click 'Billing,' then under Subscriptions simply press the Cancel box. This will stop future billings. (You will have access to the classes until the end of the monthly period for which you have already paid.)

  • I am in my first trimester, can I join the classes now?

    These classes are designed and intended for women in their second and third trimesters. Your body is doing a huge amount of work during the first trimester, and all of growing baby's primary development is taking place. I ask that you wait until after your first trimester to join this program, and ideally until after you have checked in with your healthcare provider. This will be in best service to the needs of your pregnancy, and I think will feel like good timing once you join! I look forward to 'seeing' you then in the MamaBe Pregnancy Classes!

    In the meantime, I encourage you to join and access the iRest Yoga NIdra practices... these guided meditations are an incredible support for your wellbeing and will help you to cope with stress and other common challenges... and will also support your enjoyment of this journey.

  • Which classes can I access with my monthly membership? And does it include the MamaBe® Authentic Birthing Program?

    During your pregnancy, with your membership you can have unlimited access to the MamaBe Pregnancy classes and the iRest Yoga Nidra Meditations (perfect during pregnancy).

    MamaBe Baby gatherings and practices (open to you and your baby once your baby is 6 weeks old); and unlimited access to the Mindful Yoga & Practices (open to you only after the birth of your baby).

    The membership does not include access to the MamaBe Authentic Birthing Program, which is a comprehensive program that compliments the MamaBe Pregnancy classes. The MamaBe Authentic Birthing Program gives you and your partner (or birth partner) the tools to navigate labour and delivery with confidence, ease and a full toolset of coping techniques.

  • I want to connect with other Pregnant Mamas, will my membership give me this opportunity?

    Yes. It is SO helpful to share in the company of other pregnant women and to make new friends with other women who are on this journey with you. The 'Pregnancy Café' is offered with this need for community in mind, it is a weekly gathering to share and chat... and there is also a monthly Q&A which includes the opportunity to not only ask practice related questions but to reach out to the community of women to share questions, ideas and resources.

  • Do I need to purchase additional materials?

    You do not! Wear comfortable clothes, and prepare your mat (or area on a blanket or carpet), pillow, and blanket ... and be sure to have a bottle of water on hand. Other props that are helpful but not required include a yoga block, a 'wedge' for side lying to support growing belly, and long yoga bolsters. This is an opportunity to turn your phone off or set it aside - for the benefit of your own practice.

  • Can Clearlight see me while I am practicing during the live-streaming classes?

    This is up to you. You can set your video to 'on', in which case Clearlight will be able to see you while she is teaching. She may offer feedback if she has helpful comments to keep movements safe and effective. You can also set your video to 'off' should you choose to join the live practice but not be visible. Either choice is perfect, and this may change throughout any given practice.

  • I have never practiced yoga before, can I join these classes?

    Absolutely! The movement aspect of the MamaBe® Pregnancy classes is based on the spirit of deep listening and moving in harmony with your body – many join as beginners. I always keep things interesting and engaging for those who have been practicing for years... while keeping the practice accessible for beginners. The classes are not competitive and each woman is encouraged to go at her own pace.

  • Are there any reasons why I might NOT want to join these classes?

    It is important that you discuss your participation in gentle exercise with your healthcare provider, to be sure it is appropriate for you. Assuming a healthy pregnancy, these classes will support you and your pregnancy's health and wellbeing – physically, energetically, emotionally, and mentally. If you have an injury or condition that would preclude your safe participation in gentle exercise, or if you have a high-risk pregnancy that could be affected by movement, these classes will not be a good fit. If in doubt, you can always contact me (Clearlight) to discuss whether this is the program for you.

    If these classes are not right for you at the moment, you may want to consider scheduling a private session to receive completely individualized attention and to develop a personalized practice. Alternatively, I encourage you to instead access the iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditations (these are guided meditations and relaxations perfect to support the wellbeing of an expectant Mama on modified or full bedrest).

The class is more or less broken down into three parts, each contributing in some way to pregnancy (information, physical movement, relaxation). You really don't ''go hard'', but being someone who is typically active, I was surprised at how little movement it takes when you're pregnant to feel like you're challenging your body! What I appreciated most about the course was the positive mindset it helps to create, as well as integrating certain breathing techniques which I feel will both be useful in labor.
